Postage & Delivery

All jewellery that is to be delivered within the UK is sent by Royal Mail’s Special Delivery Next Day service and will require a signature on delivery. Most deliveries will reach the recipient by 1pm the next day. Delivery to the following areas will be delayed;

Next working day by 5.30pm

Mainland: Aberdeen, Inverness, Caithness, Argyll, Perthshire, Ballachulish, Kinlochleven.

Islands: Stornoway, Arran, Cumbrae, Kirkwall, Stormness Town only, Gigha, Islay, Jura, Tiree, Lerwick (Shetlands), Harris, Scalpay, Leverburgh, N. Uist, Benbecula, Erisksay, Uist, Castlebay (Barra), Skye.

Two working days 5.30pm

Herm only (Channel Islands), Sark (Channel Islands), Lewis, Colonsay, Mull, Coll, Shetlands.

Three working days 5.30pm

Orkney, Corrour, Mallaig, Eigg & Muck, Isle of Rum & Canna.

NB Deliveries to the Channel Islands and the Isle of Man can be delayed by Customs.

Royal Mail’s Special Delivery service insures the package for the value of up to £500 with a cost of £4.99 per order. If your order is valued at more than £500 please contact us for a higher insurance value and a different postal charge. If your item is in stock we aim to have it packaged and despatched within 4-5 working days. If your item is out of stock, we will e-mail to advise you of an expected delivery date.

Deliveries Overseas

All orders to be delivered overseas to Europe will be sent using Royal Mail’s International Signed For service. All packages are insured for up to £500 however if your order has a higher value, please contact us. A signature will be required on receipt of the package. Below is the postal tariff for this service;

For deliveries to other countries please contact us for postage costs and for payment over the telephone.

Late or Lost Deliveries

Should you experience a problem with your delivery please contact us and we will do our best to help you trace it. We will provide you with the special delivery tracking number so that you can enquire about your delivery at your local post office or by telephone. In the event of a non-delivery we can only replace or refund the order after 4 weeks when Royal Mail are happy to classify that the parcel is lost. Mai Pearls cannot be held responsible for late or lost delivery.
